Ryanair passenger forces plane to turn around after ‘attacking people’

A London-bound Ryanair flight was forced to make an unscheduled landing after a man allegedly downed a bottle of Ouzo before attacking and spraying blood on passengers.

The flight to Stansted Airport from Bulgaria was diverted to Linz, in Austria, after the man became “unruly” on Tuesday night, the airline has confirmed.

He is said to have began brawling with other passengers on the flight and was aggressive towards the cabin crew. Before being arrested, the man reportedly was rushed to hospital with a hand injury that began bleeding on the plane.

According to the Mail, the wound was bleeding so profusely that other passengers and crew members got blood on their clothes. Once the man was detained by police in Linz, the plane continued its journey to the London airport.
