Man kills three women, commits suicide in Pakistan

Islamabad: A man shot dead three women before committing suicide by shooting himself in Lahore, capital city of the Pakistani province of Punjab, media reported Wednesday.

The bodies were found in a car outside the Gaddafi Stadium. Police said that the man was sitting in the back seat along with one of the women, while the other two sat in the front, Dawn online reported.

The man shot dead two of the women and wounded a third before killing himself.

The injured woman was rushed to a hospital but she died later.

The motive behind the killings was unclear but the identity of the deceased has been ascertained, police said.

We are still investigating as to why the man shot the women dead and evidence is still being gathered, they said.

According to the report, two of the dead women were sisters, while the third woman is said to be their mother and the man is reportedly a close friend of two of the victims’ father.
