Jakarta horror attack: Three arrested

Several explosions rocked the capital of Jakarta on Thursday, in an attack that has been claimed by evil ISIS. Police Colonel Dwiyono told Indonesian television the men were suspected militants that could have links to the brutal violence.

Authorities said they discovered an Islamic State flag in the home of one of the suspects. The sick attacks saw seven die, including five terrorists and two civilians during the mid-morning rampage.

The haul of weapons included bombs, guns, ammunition and knives in a jihadi’s rucksack as ISIS set upon a Starbucks and shopping mall.

Harrowing footage shows one of the suicide bombers exploding into a ball of fire when detonating the bomb outside a Starbucks in Jakarta. Six explosions were confirmed as evil ISIS claimed responsibility for the cowardly spree of bombs and shootings in the mid-morning rampage.

ISIS – also known as Daesh – officially claimed responsibility for the attacks.

In a statement posted online, it said: “A group of soldiers of the caliphate in Indonesia targeted a gathering from the crusader alliance that fights the Islamic State in Jakarta through planting several explosive devices that went off as four of the soldiers attacked with light weapons and explosive belts.”

Jakarta’s police chief earlier told reporters: “ISIS is behind this attack definitely.”
