Facebook purchases MSQRD, app with Snapchat-like selfie filters

Facebook purchased the popular selfie filter app MSQRD, which lets users add funny filters on their face while they record live videos or take photos. MSQRD actually works similar to the Snapchat’s selfie filters—think of the rainbow throw up filter. The only difference is that MSQRD has a bigger catalog of filters, including one that turns users into Iron Man.

Other quirky filters include Leonardo DiCaprio winning an Oscar, face-swapping and animal faces.
