Ferrari have ended winter testing as the fastest team on all four compounds, yet their final session was hampered after Kimi Raikkonen broke down on track. The Finn, who set tongues wagging on Friday morning after becoming the first driver to break into the 1:18s barrier at the Circuit de Catalunya, was deep into a race simulation programme before his stoppage prompted the red flags to wave. The SF70H did emerge again, though, with 15 minutes remaining and Ferrari will be heading to Australia as the fastest team on each compound, on paper at least:
Supersofts: Kimi Raikkonen, Day Eight, 1:18.634
Ultrasofts: Sebastian Vettel, Day Seven, 1:19.024
Softs: Kimi Raikkonen, Day Eight, 1:19.267
Mediums: Sebastian Vettel, Day Three, 1:21.609
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished the day in P2, but the RB13 spent a lot of time in the garage once again because of a turbo issue.
