F1 legend Michael Schumacher recovering ‘quite slowly’

Michael Schumacher had a horrible accident whilst skiing in the French Alps back in December 2013. Right away, Schumi was placed in a drug-induced coma in which he woke up from. Afterwards, Michael Schumacher was transferred to a Swiss hospital and now in their Swiss mansion overlooking the Geneva Lake. At the moment, there’s a total of 15 people monitoring and helping Michael Schumacher with his condition; the total cost for his rehabilitation is $154,000 it wasn’t an easy road for the family, but Sabine Kehm said that Schumi’s condition is making progress.

In an interview she said, “We are happy to say still he does improvement and I say this always considering the severeness of the injury he had. But of course it will take a very long time for everybody involved to fight, and we are happy to take this fight.” In another interview Sabine added that we “must always keep the seriousness of his injuries in mind”.

According the Express the medical bills of Michael Schumacher is now over $15million but this is not really going to have that much effect on the F1 legacy’s $750 million net worth.

The Mirror previously reported that Bernie Ecclestone (CEO of the Formula One Group) hasn’t been able to pay Schumi a visit and his reason was, “I don’t want to see Michael like that. I remember Michael as he was. That is how I want to see Michael. If he comes back, that is how I want Michael to be.”
