Deepika Padukone will not be arrested for AIB

According to a reports, The Bombay High Court has granted interim protection to Deepika and restrained the Mumbai police from arresting her till March 16 in the AIB Roast obscenity case.

The order was passed on a petition Deepika Padukone had filed seeking to quash the FIR registered against her. The court granted Deepika protection till March 16 when her plea would come up for hearing. Deepika’s lawyer argued that the actress was merely a spectator at the AIB Knockout show that had Karan Johar ‘roasting’ Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.
